Michael Porter Jr. is an important part of the Denver Nuggets, known for his quick speed, great teamwork skills, and clutch three-pointers.
Porter is usually quite good at working with his fellow Nuggets stars, but a recent stretch of games featured a troubling trend.
According to Legion Hoops, Porter has had zero assists during the last four games.

0 assists

It started during the game against the Houston Rockets on November 12.
Then, in games against the Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Cleveland Cavaliers, his stretch of zero assists continued.
That doesn’t mean that Porter wasn’t helping at all and he averaged 18.5 points and 8 rebounds during those games.
But the fact that he hasn’t been able to land any assists is definitely concerning because one of the best things about the Nuggets is the way that the team functions as a unit.
From Nikola Jokic to Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and others, the entire squad is celebrated for its synergy and the way that everyone works well together.
These last four games that have featured no assists from Porter haven’t been the best for the Nuggets.
They have lost three of their last four games and have now lost two games in a row, against the Pelicans and Cavaliers.
Is the whole team entering a rough patch?
Last season, Porter averaged 1 assist a game and he’s averaging 1.4 so far this season.
So there is a very good chance that he will shake off this period of no assists and start looking like his regular self again in no time.
The Nuggets are still one of the best teams in the league and Porter is still a very talented player but, right now, both are experiencing little hiccups.
