War of the Worlds: The Attack is a 2023 British sci-fi horror film about three young friends who track a meteorite that crashes into Earth. They quickly discover that they are at the epicentre of an alien invasion.
Directed by Junaid Syed from a screenplay co-written with Tom Jolliffe (The Area 51 Incident; Wrath of Van Helsing; Reign of Chaos; Jurassic Island; The Leprechaun’s Curse; Ouija Hosts; The Legend of Jack and Jill; Witches of Amityville Academy; Scarecrow’s Revenge), loosely based on H.G. Wells’ classic 1898 novel.
The Doorbell Productions-Lola’s Productions-Seeon co-production stars Sam Gittins (The Last Heist; Wolves of War), Lara Lemon (As a Prelude to Fear), Alhaji Fofana (Slaughterhouse Rulez), Vincent Regan, Leo Staar, Kathi DeCouto, Natalie Arikan, Stefan Boehm, Chris Bouchard, Frances Mather, Fredi ‘Kruga’ Nwaka, Jim Page, Kris Saddler, Rosie Steel and Darren Tassell.
